Strengthening Foster care: parents as the missing piece

About Us

Our Purpose

Family at play

The purpose of the WV Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Network is to support the building of a statewide network of foster, adoptive, and kinship families from all agencies for advocacy and support.

We want families to work together and advocate and have our voices heard on issues related to foster care and adoption. In the past families typically have not been at the table when important policy and program decisions are made, but we are already changing that.

Check out our Facebook Page for updates on the network and opportunities to help support foster, adoptive, and kinship families in West Virginia.

To have a voice, we need families across the state to get involved, remain engaged, and work together. Ultimately, empowered and connected families will be able to better help kids!

Please share this page with your own network to help us get the word out to every foster, adoptive, and kinship family in the state!

Thank you for your support!
